As from 1.4.2003 WS-Wärmeprozesstechnik has concentrated her activities in the field of hydrogen production by steam reforming of natural gas in a new company. The new enterprise, named WS-Reformer GmbH, will advance the development, production and marketing of steam reformers in the range from 5 to 250 Nm³/ hydrogen output. 

 

"There is a high potential for our products and the market environment make us very optimistic for the future," says Dr.Georg Schönfelder, founder and co-partner of the new company. " Our long lasting know-how in the field of industrial thermal processing and our innovative FLOX-combustion principle is our strongest differentiation from the competitors. And last but not least, for our FLOX-Reformer Compact we were awarded with the "Fuel Cell Award in Gold" in 2001." 

 

WS-Wärmeprozesstechnik GmbH is a owner-leaded mid-size company. Core Competence is the development, production and marketing of high efficient burner systems for industrial use. WS Reformer GmbH is mid-sized independent company, located in Renningen, Germany. Core Competence is the development, the production and marketing of reformers for local hydrogen production from natural gas, propane and biogas. Essential feature is the FLOX heating principle, discovered, patented and further developed by WS Wärmeprozesstechnik. Applications for the products are local hydrogen production for industrial use, supply of hydrogen as fuel for fuel cell vehicles and local power generation by fuelc cells in CHP-plants.
