The winners of the “2004 Innovation award of the German gas industry 2004“ were announced on October, 19th 2004. The award show took place Berlin in the course of a gala diner under the patronage of BGW and DVGW, the largest gas associations in Germany. The prize, in total 50.000€ is awarded every two years for excellent achievements for energy saving and increasing energy efficiency.

WS reformer wins a 5000 € award in the category “Excellent achievements in research and development for natural gas applications” for its FLOX steam reformers, designed for on-site hydrogen production.

 

Managing director Dr.-Ing. Hans-Peter Schmid sees the WS Reformer GmbH on track:“ With the product-line FLOX® Reformer modular we offer commercial solutions for „on-site“ hydrogen production at this stage. The product is a proof of our innovative strength. It’s now time to open-up new as well as traditional markets together with strong and competent partners. Additionally, our development line FLOX® Reformer compact comprises several novel and attractive concepts, which will make fuel cell systems significantly simpler. “
